OCS Dial-in Conferencing Bug & Resolution

Matt McGillen blogged about a bug in OCS 2007 R2 Dial-In Conferencing. Apparently Microsoft is working on a fix and should release a new version of Outlook Live Meeting Plug-in soon to address the issue.

Q: What exactly is the bug?

A: When you cancel a calendar appointment that was a conference call using your personal conference ID, OCS “automatically” voids your personal conference ID and creates a new one for you – without telling you. This means that any appointments that you have with the “old” ID are most likely void.

See Matt’s Blog Article about the issue and it’s resolution.
